hey, guys! prompto here lol

i know there's a lot of information to go through after everything that happened. can you believe it's just been ten days since the UNA soldiers? sure feels like longer! that and we got some newcomers literally in the middle of NAEXPO which i think is the nicer of scenarios. (omgs speaking of is anyone else cosplaying? i don't think i've slept the past day, it's been a lot of fun!! if anyone's here or thinking of coming Hit Me UP there's so much to do.)

mostly i just wanted to say that i got my camera back from home! and the best part is? the SD card was INTACT. all you earth dwellers be making faces at how ~weird~ the fauna is like in eos, but now i can finally show it to you. that and the adventures me and my friends had while we took a roadtrip out of the city and into the great unknown!

i know we're trying to set up something more comprehensive like a guide of sorts for what we know, and there's a couple of great people pushing towards meeting at least once a month to touch base. i think we're going for birthday celebrations as our incognito excuse? help me fill out this calendar with your birthdays. it's not gonna be a real party if you don't want it to be, and some of you don't actually have birthdays? whaaaaaaat... but like, what does your ID say? share your life story with me, etc. or don't lol

For the most part, these are very good. Though I'm rather offended you'd suggest I'd butcher and grill one of Wiz's chocobos.

Prompto is correct, but to explain it more thoroughly: Gladiolus Amicitia comes from a family that has traditionally held the role of the King's Shield for over a millenia. Gladio has embraced this position and duty, and chose to tattoo himself with an eagle, one of the symbols of his family.

It's a rather important position, and one he doesn't take lightly. He has to be willing to live and die for his King, after all. And while he's never said as much, I assume having it writ large across his skin is a way of displaying the pride he takes in it.

...But knowing him, it is also likely for show, yes.

[ so he's royalty. he's used to being in the media - usually for wreaking havoc and causing scandals to make his family shut up and pay attention to his message. It doens't usually work, but he knows one thing - the easiest way to distract people from shady stuff going on is to just be as loud and obnoxious as possible. Like jingling keys in front of a baby's face while you like, stab their granddad.

hey rey! thanks...! i do my best to capture the best of situations and people in pictures
and i actually have! it's so much easier since i just do it with my eyes but it really loses that 'hard work' feel
kinda getting used to all the settings of brain photography

Those are really lovely photos.
