@katelin.philips

so. looks like every two weeks, new people are being dropped off (what are we calling ourselves, by the way? 'displaced'?).

i figure with it being as regular as that and with everything we all have in common and that we're struggling with, it might make sense to prepare some kind of introduction spiel. collect information that everyone who's being dropped off would likely want to know, as far as we have it.

i'm thinking something about the fact that we're all from different worlds and times, the whole multiverse thing. something about the powers. what we've found out so far about the glowing in our chests, from the items that show up to the rage cure.

what else? anything i'm missing?

and to those who're new, any questions you desperately want answered? aside from "who brought us here and how do we get back?" because none of us know the answer to that. wish we did.

oh, and maybe it should include a bit about not murdering people, too...

heh well.. it's not a big deal, and one hundred is an exaggeration! it was maybe 3 a week or something..

[abashed...]

thanks, connor! i'll try to proofread it before then so it isn't too much work for you

do you like writing police reports?

3 a week is still considerable. I'll leave it to you. Think of me as the final draft's editor before Katelin publishes.

I like working and the reports are a very important part of that. I know that means I don't often "switch off" easily, but it's very rewarding. Like a... written confirmation of your own achievements.

[GOOD, challenging stuff that can keep the mind busy.]

ohhh kinda like ticking things off a to-do list kind of satisfaction
i can get behind that
if it makes you happy then it's definitely something you shouldn't be apologetic about!! or feel like you need to explain you know?

(blinks at that text message.

don't apologize for doing the things that make you happy? what if they're bad? or otherwise uninteresting?
)

I do derive a great deal of satisfaction from it.

I hope you don't. Apologize for the things you like, that is.
