Turns out that we're missing two new faces around the safehouse.

I'd play a guessing game as to why I wasn't told, but I don't care. These two faces apparently murdered two people that night.

I don't know who they are, but I do know that they're locked up. Any guesses as to what's going to happen to them?

Genuine question. Because I don't know.

Oh, and because some of you think you can do whatever the hell you want around here: don't think the way out for them is a jail break. Don't even fucking try it. And no, Morningstar isn't in the business of breaking people out of jail, because that would be stupid.

okay, so after having read everyone's freak outs i have a couple questions:
- do we know if they have access to the network yet?
- if they have, can we block their access to it?
- would it be possible for authorities to find the network with one of their implants if it previously had access?

because it seems to me like the only thing actually connecting them to morningstar or the rest of us would be that right now. unless someone steps up and claims to know them.

The third one who got arrested was already released. There hasn't been any external exposure since then.

then why don't we just leave them there?
it's a bit of a callous answer to this problem, but
if they didn't commit murder under duress, the cops are going to look at their blank ids and follow that lead
it may mean that us displaced folks will need to keep a close eye on our own ids and make sure we don't get into trouble so we can avoid background checks
but do we have any reason to think that investigation would lead to us other than them having been on a bus?

No, but that's because someone else is careful only to leave up any bus surveillance long enough for El to spot them and then it's gone.

If they begin to look for missing bits of surveillance?

Well, I don't know. I assume it'll be just as much of a blind chase. The blind leading the blind.

Most of these arguments aren't my fault, but they're certainly eye-opening.

This isn't the first time I've witnessed a conversation that boils down to whether or not someone should be killed. It isn't unique to your group.

It is the first time where people have debated throwing civilians into the fray at the same damn time.
