There's definitely merit to the idea of practicing and discovering your limits in a situation that's more controlled. It's still a question of risk versus reward, but you seem to have thought it through and ultimately I can't really tell you it's not worth it.

[He can't exactly say he supports the idea either, but he'd been most concerned with at least bringing up alternatives and making sure she'd considered the risks. But it seems like she has, and she is indeed only asking for volunteers, and it's not like he can stop her.]
