It's nice in its simplicity. It makes things easier to deal with.

I have experience using knives in close combat, yes. That's good to know.
Is that person amenable to sharing their power with anyone who asks?
I'm not sure I have much to offer in return. At least, not currently.

I'm not sure what you mean by "dystopian," if you'd be patient enough to provide a little more detail.
