[ The message is out and the AI (?) known as DAWN has reached out to all of New Amsterdam in reply to the call. In response, El has created a temporary network to facilitate communication between the Displaced and the presumed AI. The network and its contents will be deleted within seven days of the posting, at 21:59. That means there will be no referencing conversations past November 14th. There can be no private filters between PCs on this post, and pings will also not work.

Those who sign into the network will be prompted with a basic input box and text that displays "Enter your handle." For this post, the PCs will be able to create their own temporary handles when talking with DAWN.

El will chip in when needed, and the PCs are free to converse with themselves. Those who want to speak with DAWN can under this toplevel. ]

Displaced, this is a temporary network that I've set up for the express purpose of making contact with DAWN. It, and everything on it, will be wiped in one week's time.

I'll be keeping an eye on everything that's discussed here and intervene if necessary.

I'm not going to pour my heart out to you. I don't even know you that well. I have my own purpose, as well as my own desires to fulfill. I can do it without you. I'm not ally to Morningstar, if that changes your opinion.

Not necessarily, what about Lucifer? Do you hold any kind of allegiance to them? Or at least a desire to not go against their wishes?

I have a lot to offer, especially when it comes to tracking something down and gathering information on it. Even if I'm not at my full capacity in this place, it's advantageous for once that I am a human. At least it could be for you.

You seem more intent on telling me this then challenging the virus that I let loose. What's in your realm of capabilities is in mine. I've purposefully kept my intentions to myself, why would you want to help me?

Who says I have no interest or intention in studying your virus? Your immediate presence just ended up taking priority.
