Has it occurred to you that the issue lies with making up your mind before having the evidence to support it?
Your memo refers to hardware failure. I don't believe it sounds like anything intentional, or else it wouldn't have been seen as a known issue.
But instead of overlooking that, you only think of yourself and your predisposition toward all of this.
