Sooo... someone suggested I set up a security system wherever we decide on our new safehouse. I can definitely do surveillance, and encryption and retinal scanners and all that, but I can't say I've ever tried to secure something before.

Any volunteers to help me out? Prior security experience or breaking-and-entering experience both apply.

That's fine. Having someone on the ground floor of this who I can work with should make things easier. But can I get an idea of your CV first?

Sure. I'm a robotics and programming engineer. For the past few years I've worked in industrial aerospace applications primarily.

Like I said, not exactly a security specialist, but remotely-operated robotics is one of my strong suits, so I can handle surveillance and identification systems. It's the implementation I'm not confident in.

Like I said, all the groundwork is all in place already. But having someone physically there to keep an eye on things wouldn't hurt. And if you want to add a few more locks on the proverbial door, I have no issue with that if you run it by me first.

Once your ragtag group has decided on where to move to, I can check in and run you through everything.

[ Maybe it's because she doesn't have anything to go back to, or maybe it's just Catherine's basic personality, but she goes all-in on everything she does, and she's used to being part of a team.

That being said, Catherine doesn't get a lot of compliments, so she appreciates even backhanded ones like this. ]
