Sooo... someone suggested I set up a security system wherever we decide on our new safehouse. I can definitely do surveillance, and encryption and retinal scanners and all that, but I can't say I've ever tried to secure something before.

Any volunteers to help me out? Prior security experience or breaking-and-entering experience both apply.

I have a lot of practice breaking them; one of my ba'sibs is a security engineer and I helped test a lot of their stuff.

[Which is true but leaves out some nuance, like the fact that Cato never asked Sniper to """test""" anything and in fact Sniper just did it to freak Cato out.

That part is beside the point.]

[Having to explain one of the core concepts of their world is weird but better than pretending it's not radically different.]

A bash'sibling. Almost no-one lives in nuclear families anymore in my world; instead a group of non-related adults form a bash', meaning they live together and raise their kids together.
So a ba'sib is an unrelated sibling, basically.

[Do they think that's a superior system? Absolutely. But back to the matter at hand:]

A lot of people want to break it; I think we can make it a challenge.
