i've been feeling that way too, and for what its worth, practicing what i can do here is the only thing that's really helped.

i can't teach you how to hack into your neural network (yet) but i can teach you how to manifest your glow cube powers.

lorna offered before she disappeared. i'm not her, but i do have experience with this kind of thing.

some are just more obvious than others

very complicated story short: i'm some questionable percentage alien, and when exposed to the fumes of a broken fancy crystal, i got magic powers
i also helped train a group of people who had just gotten theirs, so i have some experience with coaching people through their first time

honestly, it's bad enough finding out you have weird superpowers you didn't ask for
i figure the least i can do is try to help people go through those changes so they're not alone in the process

training your abilities isn't exactly something you want to do in a china shop
i'm trying to find a good spot, but i'm thinking maybe the caves from the ball in the meantime
they're pretty remote, and i don't think anyone is going to go back there any time soon

mine aren't that exciting anymore
i used to be able to make earthquakes, now i just take stuff apart and put it back together again

What kind of trainer are you?

[ honestly, he does need the help. he's put holes in walls because of his power and he'd rather not do that especially when he actually needs to call on it for whatever reasons. but, he's figured out that it's powered by anger and he is very rarely in control when that happens. ]

there are some abandoned warehouses, or the caves where the ball had been
not exactly my first choice for something like this, but anywhere that doesn't risk a city-wide collapse if someone happens to have earthquake powers is probably better

plus, i doubt anyone's super eager to go back to the site of a technically illegal rave

i pulled apart a toaster this morning, turned it into a really shitty heat lamp

[ a slow, useless heat lamp that would burn you if you touched the coils. but hey, it worked. ]

i wouldn't want to take a person apart anyway
