but it's more likely that their remote location required life support. and three minutes is more than enough time for someone determined to slip in through disabled firewalls to pull the plug if they wanted to.
taking out the maintenance staff would, in theory, lower the chances of anyone getting the pyramid back up and running in a timely manner. if the goal here is to cripple the city until it's willing to pay through the nose for a solution, this is one hell of a way to do it.
