Largely it depends on the mind. I can access and explore short term memory but the older a thought the less likely I'll be able to translate the neural pattern.

I can potentially prompt a mind to recall more specific things by introducing a new thought on the topic but it might alert a person to interference. In the case of UNA soldiers it almost definitely will.


[ it's something that could provide a solution to the issue he raised to rey earlier, but it's risky. reading the thoughts is undetectable, but planting them is another story. ]
